E.V. Ramakrishnan is a bilingual writer who has published poetry and criticism in English and Malayalam. He is the author of three books of poetry, publishing each after symmetrical intervals of fourteen years: Being Elsewhere in Myself (1980), A Python in a Snake Park (1994) and Terms of Seeing: New and Selected Poems (2008). He is also the author of a landmark book of translations of modern Indian poetry: The Tree of Tongues. He teaches English at South Gujarat State University, Surat.

Mithu Sen is a Bengali poet and artist. She has published two volumes of Bengali poetry: a chapbook, Ma Jai Boluk (Whatever Mother Says, 2000), and a full-length collection, Bashmati Sharir Bagan Ba Gaan (Basmati Body Garden or Song, 1995–2005). Her Bengali poems have been published in various journals, including Desh, Baromash, Aromash, Nandimukh, Kobita Pakhikhik, Jignasha, Prothom Alo, Bijolpo, Kaurob, and in English translations in Atlas. She lives and works in New Delhi.

P.P. Ramachandran (born 1962) is a significant voice among the Malayalam poets of the 1990s. His first poetry collection, Kannekane (1999), won him the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for poetry. He has since published two more volumes of verse. A graduate in Malayalam language and literature, he currently teaches in a high school in Ponnani in the Malappuram district of Kerala. His other areas of interest include amateur theatre and web publishing. He edits and publishes a web magazine named Harithakam, exclusively devoted to new Malayalam poetry. His work has been translated into Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English.

Sudeep Sen is the author of more than fifteen books and chapbooks of poetry. He studied literature in New Delhi and the USA, and later completed an MS as an Inlaks scholar from the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia. Since his first major book The Lunar Visitations in 1990 (after a quiet debut in 1983), Sen has established himself as a dynamic presence on the literary scene, working in multiple avatars as poet, translator, editor and reviewer. He currently lives and works in New Delhi.
